Thisi s just my opinion, but I think it would look fantastic with some ribbon. Maybe some Blue, or gold ribbon coming down from a big bow at the top? You could buy a big already made bow from hobby lobby and them buy matching ribbon to stream down from the top, just hide it in the branches. I like it though.
Well then, since a star cant be placed on top, a bow is perfect then. since you can kind of place it in the front on the top, and then have the tails (I dont know the right word for it) of the bow flowing down the tree to make it look all Martha-Stewart like. I really like your tree though, mine is loaded with snowmen, gingerbread men, and the like, but yours is elegant.
I love my fake tree. Yours looks very pretty.
I like the ribbon idea...or get out the thread and string yourself up some popcorn!
